At a age of 74 I have been to a few rodeos in human behaviour and witnessed how we all deal with life, land, ethnic opinions, religion, politics and through football I have learnt to appreciate all views with respect.
That respect did come with some conditions as it had to be mutual and with ethical standards and if one stepped outside one would expect to be reminded of the alleged infringement.
Common human interactions one would think, and honesty how blunt or flowered it was delivered, not always accepted., but delivered.
Been involved in politics and a Party member for 40 years, run for public office and failed, twice, and through all that one would / should accept different opinions provided they stacked up with the common goal of bettering our society and not detrimental to our country
That said, one of my countries major ally the USA is loosing its status as a reliable, and through it own actions seems to bent on self destruction, but sadly they cannot see the pending crash, as they could not see the red flags on the Global Financial Crisis, Vietnam, Pearl Harbour, to name a few.
Stability is the key to world peace and when a nation is unstable its enemies will exploit that instability, but I cannot expect the average Joe in America to see that as they have been kept dumbed down deliberately where only 47% are literate and that literacy comparrison of a Grade 6 level in my country.
Not their fault, planned right back to their forefathers 250 years ago, and no party has the political will to change that document as it suits their agendas constructed around that premise that accumulated money is the only gauge of success and is guarded ruthlessly. The entitled will never relinquish that status and any challenge or suspected challenge is regarded as traitorous and unpatriotic, yet they peddle the “Great American Dream’ propaganda along with the endemic hate national government to the masses as part of the indoctrination process from birth, keeping the status quo on top of the heap.
That fanatical worshipping of the 250 year document opens the door to the actions of that time being dealt out in todays time, hence the misogyny and actions supported by the Christian Church disregarding the premise of separation of powers being a problem, exactly the policy dictators use to keep the masses under control, and combine that with the fragmentation of the law interpretations to government selected judges according to political beliefs, makes fair justice to all farcical and manipulative according to means.
Which brings me to violence, a subject all countries are fighting as we speak and will never really defeat but that does not make it acceptable, or part of life, or part of the political process.
Wars are man made, created by the old men for securing of wealth and property, and when that violence mindset translates into the society outside of that war footing of a nation, and everything is military attuned in that society, including politics you are close to a style of government similar to all of the countries America hates or are scared of.
When a nation indoctrinates its people to handing over their children to the military, controls the content in reading and learning material, legislate the flag and religion as compulsory and non compliance is not acceptable or a traitor, you surrender your democracy, then add the abortion issue, you have a silent dictatorship.
The fragmentation of the American society is a planned event starting at their inception. keeping the masses focuses on individuality, struggling to survive, and chasing fantasies to a point where they even appoint movie stars as leaders and quote their scrips in reality says a lot about the inequality of their education systems and why they cannot see the fall of Rome pending.
This is a sad state where whoever wins everyone still looses except the billionaires, divide and rule keeps the masses engaged in hate to a point where a civil war cannot be disregarded and that too will fill the coffers of the dealers of death, but this time it’s their kids that will die on their soil and not some others kid who’s parents have been sold a pup willingly and got a flag in return.
