Can History set America’s Course?

SO, who’s sick and tired of American self destruction?

Turn on any electrical appliance and its a wonder someone is not giving you a opinion via you kettle or coffee machine … yet

They’ve run out of platforms to waffle to each other, behaved like spoilt children, each and every one playing the victim.

Its pretty easy for an outsider to understand over the last 4 years a Once a worldly conversant, broad thinking, leader of the free world …. In their eyes only I might add, been dumbed down to an internal pox heap of red or blue, all while they are loosing one person every 6 minutes with Covid and really not caring or in denial.

Im not going to bore you all shitless with my opinion as like bum holes we all have one, so what will happen will happen, civil unrest, war with the relatives, self destruction what ever, some feel its their destiny, some playing there victim card and others have no idea but will follow the masses to just conform.

The end result will be the same, history repeats, its not until a nation is total on its knees will the population realise they’ve been conned. Rome, Germany, Italy, even Russia all had to hit the floor, millions dead, infrastructures destroyed and none of the population would recognise it until the big hit came.

All of those nations were icons of their time, indication of forthcoming demise was obvious but not acted on and its history, but the main thread is failed leaderships who once were worshipped.

Change of President will not do much unless wholesale changes are made in equality in both human rights and economic rights and that won’t happen in America as they are the most uneducated population in social infrastructure, actually third world in places which is a disgrace, but where money is god, and in fact god is money the racial divide without social conscious will hamstring any chance of America ever reestablishing itself on the world stage.

Greed is Good and that’s they’re poison they take daily and rewarded accordingly.

Life’s Tool Kit will be Required After Covid19.

Out of the mires of woes COVID has delivered there are some positive lessons our society has experienced especially our youth.

In the past our life skills were learnt over years and experience but this virus has accelerated this experiences and highlighted some overlooked by not only the youth but parents equally.

Skills like patience, adaptability, social consciousness, sharing, sacrifice, ingenuity, self discipline all critical in making up quality characteristics of a reputable citizen of the world played out in a relatively short time of confinement.

It also has highlighted the shortcomings of self indulgence, greed, often displayed by parents then passing to siblings qualities that will be remembered long past this crisis.

I remember my grandparents and their friends when our country was at war and in depression recalling people who broke the social expectations of unity when our country was in crisis and those who had the character to stand united and it was the latter that this country rebounded in those times.

We are not quite in those times yet but the no one knows where the world will end up, but one thing is certain, the people who have the life’s character toolkit will be called and go to the coal face first as in our grandparents time.

Let’s Rethink All Elections in Australia.

After this period of time now and beyond our world will never be the same.

We will have to have a total reset in Australia after the risk management exercise and we will have to analyse our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats at a scale never done before.

Our leaders and their performances at all levels plus industry, workers, in fact society will be part of that assessment that is if our politicians put the nation before self interest.

We will, probably demand our leaders have a skill set to move us into the new World that everyone will be looking inward on how they performed in this crisis at all levels of government that is why I feel we should suspend all elections now as the people we elect today may not be the ones with the ability to take us forward in the unknown.

Locally who knows where we will end up, but it won’t be the same. We want people to match the times at the helm and we the punters can’t judge now on a landscape we know will never be the same.

Yes a big call but it’s time for big calls from leaders who have that forward vision and in this case practically must outrank process and I’m sure our public servants should be allowed to continue without the responsibility of holding the hands of the new kids in the sandpit on changeover in a national crisis.

This will upset some who think in the present, but it’s the ones who think past the present are the ones we need in our council chambers.

My Challenge to Stay Here.

A visit to my GP was the trigger to get my/our strategy together to stay in front of this pandemic was initiated.

Having Asbestosis is a bit of a issue when it comes to defence so it was made pretty clear if I got it I will be exiting quicker than my exit which was by the way 2020 anyway as my lung doctor predicted 15 years ago.

Basic defence is stay away from humans if possible and if not crowds, shopping centres, public transport, handrails, shopping trolleys, and keep people 2 metres away. No handshaking, hugging, or personal contact as there are carriers Not necessarily infected as yet.

Constant hand washing and no face touching or better still stay on our property and order in our food online. ( that’s a issue being resisted by ..)

But how long can one isolate themselves is the question, but I suppose how long do you want to live and what are the risks?

I could not help overhearing a conversation by 2 old white men or about saying they reckon this virus is a hoax, so I hope they are immune and does not give me confidence if they are infected and proceed to spread it out of stupidity.

That’s life I expect and humans will continue to do what humans do and until you have driven a cab, worked in retail, or manned a polling booth you don’t really get the message how fucked up some people really are in the head.

So the world will continue and what will be will be, but I will put on my Alfoil Hat and consider if this virus was a result of a man made experiment gone wrong….. or

The Dignity of Christmas for the Fortunate.

As we all get our jollies together for big Christmas gig could you please spare a thought for those who are not so fortunate, you know the ones on New Start, the one’s on New Start with disabilities that can’t get off New Start who fail the algorithm test, the returned servicemen who return broken in so many ways and left,the aged, single or deserted parents who I might add are living below the poverty line and in many if not all cases.

No I’m not here to put the guilts on the fortunate but I do ask why have we left so many behind in a such a rich country and why is this part of our society growing?

Im sick to death listening to politicians claiming that the reason they are there because it their own fault, taking drugs, too lazy from their ivory towers while all the time they are putting obstacles in their way which often end tragically in self harm.

Its not beyond some of power to believe natural attrition of these unfortunate category of our society as a part solution.

In other countries, poorer countries the culture is to look after they’re less fortunate and aged, we see them as business overheads that have to be manages as if they are outdated comodities all with prices attached.

There can be no doubt Capitalism in all its forms is failing around the world as the people are revolting, the youth are on the move all realising this trickle down economics is a falasy benefiting the fortunate few as the living with dignity gap widens.

Social Conscious in government today is condemed as left wing propaganda and while that is the case all of our underprivileged will continue to grow and suffer.

Merry Christmas to some, and to others hope you survive.

Sandpit Logic Dumbs America Down.

I astounded daily on what America today accepts as “the Normal”

I do watch and try to consume about 10 news outlets in the world every morning.

I see different slants on stories and totally different conclusions on outcomes, thats democracy I suppose and human prejudices , but in the majority of cases 99% the leader or subject of the story has the intellect to carry on a debate with reasoning that you may not accept but give some sort of credence or logic.

Outlets like Aljazera , DW, RT Today, China CCCT, BBC and many more not counting our own ABC locally, all put difficult questions and then it up to the respondent to qualify, explain, justify, or deny and then be accountable when fact checks are completed.

Not so anymore in America. The population is so divided, truth has fallen victim to political bias which is and will affect the total sociological structures yet they cannot see it coming.

This Impeachment circus is revealing how much intellectual debate has been hijacked to a point where the pillars of their justice system is being reduced to infantile sand pit banter by old white men that would be flat out achieving Grade 6 English in this country and that’s how the President wants it, regardless of that side you support.

Most of these men should be in Nursing Homes not power brokers, similar to the House of Lords which they themselves despise with a passion.

When a National Leader need an idiot sheet to say to a presser a THREE WORD STATEMENT begs the question of if the President of the United States is suffering a disability mental or physical, and his capability to consume his role.

His backers will quote his business achievement, wealth , social standing as evidence of qualification but in his case it’s been purely inherited from his parents, not him and the only thing he can lay claim for is live tv productions that are crass ,phoney, and fake like him and he has taken those qualities to the White House and they have b been dumbed down accordingly.

He has surrounded himself in yes people army who are scared shitless as the Gestapo was when Hitler raged, then went out to please to stay on the good books.

Then the simple fact is Obama was black and the Redneck right could never accept that fact ever, and how he survived without assassination attempt is unbelievable in my eyes but that’s not to say it did not happen or discovered.

Secondly the Clintons are Crooks as is most of the American upper class. They rely on the “Thug” mentality throughout their lives and Trump is one of them yet playing the Professional Wrestling Card of Good Guy Bad Guy definition sucked in the American audience as he did on the TV fake shows of his creation.

Yet in saying that his supporters abandoned their ethics and credibility and joined his coat tails to survive, and they too will never recover the status they surrendered.

Now America you are at a tipping point, the impeachment will never happen, and it has to decide if it repeats history and divides the country into Blue and Red and regardless if Trump wins or looses he will wage war, not just political war but civil as well as his followers all propaganda juiced will never accept the peoples wish and he does not have the class or intelligence to calm the waters.

They say a government is only as good as its opposition and by Christ I see them too looking at rich white men for salvation where what the nation needs is a leader that not only America need but the rest of the world needs, a person with integrity and courage, leadership and vision without personal gain

Big call in a country where money is the gauge of success not Ask not what the Country can do for you, but what you can do for your country

Seemed fitting didn’t it?

Class War is exactly What it is.

It’s pretty clear the present federal government is in a position it never thought it would be and all its past would be forgotten and would have been quite happy to be in opposition watching Labor cope with a crumbling economy on the verge of recession, retail and wage stagnation accompanied by increased poverty and working poor and don’t start me on health.

All of the above in their eyes is acceptable as long as that phantom surplus is announced with the one and only policy of the ends justifying the means.

In ipswich alone we have destitute people living out of charity food trucks and barns feeding families and many not on the streets yet but just surviving in any accomodation they can.

This government has to think if giving a person food and a shower to get them off New Start will impact on their mantra of achievement. What a mantra to carry, watching its own people starve and die in squalor, yet having the power and resources help but choosing to give cash to people who are quite comfortable.

It seems to be a crime not only here in Australia but in America too to have a social conscience or empathy with the fear of being branded a socialist yet it is politically and socially acceptable to give money and incentives and hand outs to high end tax evaders who can afford to manipulate the system, call them astute, while we see wage theft becoming a minor inconvenience when caught and not a civil crime.

If the politicians have difficulty or fear backlashes by calling it Class War then so be it but I will call as I see it.

My Neighbourhood Stands Together.

What a unique Street we live in.

On Girral, we had a very pleasant evening at the local celebrating a rather gratifying week and a bit preparing, erecting, judging, stewarding, exhibiting, and winning, then dismantling everything we constructed.

We, I say we all helped each other in exhibits such as school work, art, the inaugural honey exhibition, bonsais, horticulture, photography, and general supervision of all of the above.

Not bad for a dead end street and a bunch of possibly the most diverse people from diverse backgrounds one could imagine all coming together for a Rosewood Show commitment.

We all live on acreage, yet our commitment to each other and families quality of life goes without saying. Even those who don’t participate in everything still are not left out. We all communicate, we all care.

Unique no not really to me, as my upbringing was exactly this. Care about your neighbour, communicate and be understanding of diverse opinions, cultures, and habits. It does not come naturally and it has to be worked on but so does life.

I like to think we are similar to the Football Club I follow who has the motto Mia SAN Mia, which translates plural and singular “We Are Who We Are, and I Am Who I Am.”

It’s All about the $$$ in the Falou case.

I’ve watched, listened, and tried to digest this Falou shenanigans go backward and forwards with little or no retreat from whatever side you choose to hang your allegiance.

Not carrying any religious allegiance other than to the human race I choose to look at the facts from the start and ask the questions, however hard they may be.

Firstly, does a person have the right to follow his or hers own beliefs? Answer Yes.

Does a person have the right to impose those beliefs on any other person ? Answer No.

Religion is a choice a individual makes, nothing more as is the choice to not follow a religious tribe, so judging a person by his or hers decision or point of view is dependant of what tribe you follow or don’t is a bias exercise regardless.

Who’s right and who’s wrong is the story of mankind, but religions do not have a mortgage on being human and believing in the rights and wrongs of hurting each other be with words or actions.

Falou hurt people with words, that’s wrong, full stop. I can’t stand outside a place of worship in the public domain and accuse people of wrong doing because of their belief or sexuality I would get arrested for persecution among other things.

The fact he was warned and then breached that warning cannot be covered up by justifying lack of free speech.. He knew exactly what the repercussions would be so he pressed the boundary and then he played the sympathy vote.

It cannot go unsaid that some still will not accept the Yes Vote in the referendum, and that’s their choice, but I cannot see why a millionaire should be publicly funded by a tax free charity with public funds when I thought a non for profit organisation role was to help the less fortunate. Those donations will also be a tax rebate, so is this entire exercise all about money right from the start?

From Baby Boomer to the Social Elite?

For us early risers it was a pleasure to get up every morning and turn on the radio and get the world news on our much loved ABC and discuss how lucky we were not to be where the nastiest things were happening in the world.

Today I’m more hesitant to even turn on the radio or tv as daily reports of crime, death by guns, knives, gangs, abductions, domestic violence and child abuse, racial hatred pouring out of the electronics, and we have to ask ourselves why or what have we let our society get to this state in Australia.

After the election I’m in the category of the self interested/ money hoarding baby boomer who only cares about me and my immediate family and the franking credits. Me not I assure you, but obviously many are and the reason we got to where we are is we were fortunate to have governments that saw things like superannuation, health care, 9 day fortnight’s, annual leave loading, employment, pension, and many other perks today we take for granted.

Our society was based on helping up those who were less fortunate, ie. returned war service personnel, TPI’s, widowed women and families all of us in the same boat struggling to get their families a feed let alone a house or property, that come later with the housing commission, another social incentive to get us established.

We were blessed wen we look back, no money but things were simple and we made sure our kids got it easier.

Today we have a greedy society all about “ME”. And we look down on people who’s demographic we were. They now born into poverty have a really tough time getting out and crime becomes a choice, never or rarely thought of back then but for some the only salvation to survive.

Increasing jails, fines are fruitless until we can get the social injustices addressed if not everyone will be living in gated communities scared to take your kids to the park or beach.

This idea of this government of giving only the ones who “have a go” help and thinking the ones on New Start or no start will look after themselves or die is actually playing out in our streets daily.

Looking back we got it pretty right in the early part then we forgot from where we come and must ask ourselves where we got it so wrong, and my answer is when greed outweighed our social responsibility.
