Why is it every time we see troubles in the Middle East, Gaza in particular Israel is always reported as the victim?

I saw people waving a flag shot by snipers, people running away shot in the back, yet Israel was defending itself from protesters unarmed protesters. No Israeli casualties reported.

Yes, Palestine does retaliate as Israel continues to expand and its become more evident Israel is not part or just plays lip service to any two state solution and Trump has supported that ideology within his embassy shift.

Make no mistake the move of embassy secured funding for his Republican Party and Netanyahu knows money reins supreme, and action the rest of world would regard as terrorism can be bought off by the threat giving or withdrawing currency, media outlets included.

If in any other place this latest Trump/Netanyahu decision outcome would be described as a massacre, but media outlets chose to totally downplay the deaths and show the nationalistic images of celebrations of new beginnings.

The ongoing saga of the Trump election, the bombing of Syria, the poisoning’s in England all yet to prove hard evidence yet we are only hearing from political spin which I feel has a agenda to smokescreen what is happening in the particular nations home fronts that are the loudest.

Trumps issues are a daily circus in progress where if he can keep diverting attention from accountability personal and political his thinks he can dumb down the world as he has Americans.

Theresa May with her government struggling on Brexit and other fronts needs diversion to take the heat off her government and performance.

Now the Syrian catastrophic situation as descended into a blame game that suits the political ideological philosophy of insinuations being carful not to include allies like Israel who are sending planes and bombs allegedly.

Meanwhile here in Australia we got on the bandwagon and expelled a few Russians but not after a very interesting presser from the Russian Ambassador in which he exhausted the media contingent of questions, forcing Bishop into a counter presser never seen before in diplomatic protocols in this country.

It’s important we do not sleepwalk into thinking our allies have Australian interests as a core value. With lending rates minimal, wages stagnant, any upward movement will decimate those who have overcommitted or over borrowed, so this fantasy of how corporate tax cuts in both countries is our saviour is just flawed political ideology.

Imagine interest rates returning to 5% accompanied by inflation what damage that would do to all those who are in new homes struggling now?

The hypocrisy of the entire Trump trip was tipperfied when Trump demanded we contribute to patrolling Chinas sand island expansion while he ignores Israel’s expansion into Palestine and we choose to stay silent.

We in the Asian Pacific can not rely on Trumps America. We have to tighten alliances with New Zealand and forge new trading partners as when that balloon busts in America and it will , we have to have a government that has the skills to guide us through with policies that are people based as the corporates will be too busy concentrating on saving their Mercedes.

Double Standard Applies in Barnaby Reports.

I’m struggling trying to get to truth accompanied some logic.

Like America we are being dumbed down by constant deceit and spin and transparency and truth are the casualties if we choose not to question or challenge.

Media Influence on Democracy Unwanted.

We have been quick to criticise ,analyse, American politics and the system of government they try to achieve democracy and equality to their nation.

Our Westminster system flys in the face of many parts of their processes of basic culture of what we regard as good governance, and unfortunately we will follow their path if we are not aware of the way the real story is told and who will profit or has a agenda to influence politics in their favour.

Lobbyists and lobbying, factions and deals are part of the dirty game but when the media seek to influence outcomes that’s when we the punters need to ask is it fact or fiction.

People will read what suits them and their beliefs but that does not make It fact.

In America their is a distinct divide/canyon in reporting politics and that divide was created intentionally, as do dictatorships to divide so it becomes “your with me or against me mentality,” and the space we regard for compromise is diminished.

I was startled at first but not surprised when Cambridge Analytica who specialise in disinformation and voter targeting was engaged by the Coalition for the next federal election as they were the part of the Trump and Brexit campaigns, successful they were but the aftermath of the splitting of the populations is something I fear would happen here in Australia.

My belief in balanced reporting was shaken when the well respected Brisbane Masthead was turned into a Newsletter for the Coalition under ownership orders, reenforcing the well reported quote the “I have the power to change governments” so we need to be aware but not surprised when digesting reporting.

Observers can see the major parties are setting themselves on a election footing and I want to see genuine debate on the direction our county takes, and politicians that represent people not conglomerates or billionaires as sooner or later some learned soul will wake up and realise our biggest asset is our people, race, colour or creed indifferent, that is when we will rise above those nations and leaders who only survive on division.

Israel/USA Alliance goes Unchecked. 

I finding it very hard to accept that a foreign country can change the capital of another country without the population having a say one way or the other. In saying that Israel has suppressed, deported, jailed any media/journalist who dares to speak a different line to government propaganda so it’s not surprising this issue has not been given alternate coverage from within, leaving it to outside news outlets to pirate stories as if they are inside a fascist dictatorship. 

Australian and overseas journalists who have worked the Israel Palestinian sectors have had equipment seized and smashed yet there has been no outrage in fear of political repercussions back home here in the electorate. 

Couple this with Trumps war on any media that questions his agenda makes this strengthening alliance detrimental to world stability not only in the Middle East but worldwide which could reset established alliances that may well turn out to be detrimental to our security in Australia and as the United States has not appointed a full time ambassador our alarm bells should be ringing.

 

Lap Dog Australia Has To Decide 

We all laughed when the White House and the President called our PM President Trumbles and little did we realise what a circus would evolve from then on in. We all have our own views the worlds woes, some of us follow events while others it just gets too hard to engage and just turn off handing over to respective propaganda spin doctors to give you information they think you need to know being their version only.

Well no one is talking about the massive arsenal build up off the Korean Peninsula, the biggest in US history. A pending war in the Middle East over Zionist views on the location of the capital plus the never ending spats Israel has with anybody who dares to  say or print anything negative about their point of view.

If this keeps escalating and Australia maintains its lap dog relationship with the Trump team the target on the people of Ipswich gets bigger by the day. 

We are a legitimate target in any world conflict, that’s undeniable so will we just leave it to the politicians in Canberra to decide what level are we expendable (the Brisbane Line Strategy) or should we be really looking at how far we will back this mob under its present Managment and protect our own interests and people. 

Trump is unhinged, a pathological liar, that cannot be trusted in any way and it’s time for the rest of the free world to stand up and distance themselves from his antics for the sake of our own existence as their are no dress rehearsals or second takes when the crunch comes.

As a avid reader of news/politics/history over my lifetime and being involved I dare to say the world is looking at a uncontrollable train crash when it comes to America and it’s society.Day by day it’s social structure is being dismantled not because it’s broken but by the pure spite of political ideology, and in Trumps case the hate of a Afro American even being allowed through the door let alone the White House. 

With over 85% of the country’s wealth being in the hands of the top 10%

America is armed to the hilt, that industry dominates the political agendas so no party will have the guts to change that position but unfortunately it will be their own cancer when the poor, the black, the sick, the immigrants and the ones with social conscience will say enough is enough and rise up. 

Attacks on the press, book banning, social profiling, racial preferences in regards to welfare, tragedy response, health care, based on political voting patterns all fuelling the hate that will eventually erupt on the streets across the country. 

With about 320 million population the bean counters will make a calculation of collateral damage of the masses while the rich will look on and profit accordingly. 

That’s how the beast worked in the past, wealth wins as the peasants kids are given a flag and sons and daughters sacrificed physically and mentally without thought or challenge. 

Undoubtedly I will be criticised for these observations as I have been before of being  ignorant  of the real America and in no way am I comparing Australian culture , but what I am comparing is human response over history and the ingredients it takes to motivate a person to rebel. 

Donald Trump is creating a mixture maybe in ignorance or planned, that will rise up, and all the red herrings he may create to divert attention externally the pot is boiling in his kitchen, his creation and the sad thing is I doubt if he knows how to lay the table let alone cook. 

Trump Bumbling Should Force Strengthening Australia /New Zealand  Alliance. 

The National Press Club address on the future and past policies on our submarine capabilities i believe it’s time where we as a nation should reassess and rethink our defence particularly with the current political climate.I believe basing our defence capabilities on American support is no longer a option with Trump as America withdraws inwardly making us become either more self reliant or vulnerable depending on our choices. 

To be honest I have never been a fan of increasing defence budgets but the world has changed and after the warnings from the independent presenters at the press club we need to be proactive ASAP and look closely at where and who we align with to protect our patch. 

To me Australia/New Zealand alliance should be strengthened and that will take increased political will from both nations as the Kiwis look at Australia tied to America unlike them who stand less condescending and independent. 

Undoubtably technology will overtake present manned equipment be it submarines, planes, and drones will increase and some of our old chestnuts like nuclear power will have to be a challenged as conventional diesel technology will not give us the range without fuel stop vessels for manned units, defeating the element of security and surprise required in intelligence gathering and reaction. 

All assumptions but there is no doubt we have to become more independent within our patch economically and militarily and that change will need to made by a government that can take advantage and create industries on the back of that change not close them down or outsource responsibility.
